What you get
You tell the calculator your kind of business, your team’s size and what an hour of their time costs you. The calculator shows the hours a week your team could save, and what those hours are worth each month. You also see how many weeks the automation takes to pay for itself, at our starting price. For example, an agency of 20 people that saves 16 hours a week at $45 an hour saves about $3,100 a month.
How it works
- Describe your business. The calculator starts with a typical business of your kind. Change the number of people and the cost of an hour to match yours.
- Choose the processes you’d automate first, such as finding leads or sending invoices. Not sure which? Try Where to start first.
- Adjust the hours. The calculator fills in typical hours for each step of that process, and how many of those hours automation usually saves. Change any number that’s different for your team.
- Read the result. You see the hours saved and their value each month. You also see the starting price and the weeks to pay for itself. A last line compares what you’d pay for tools in that area before and after.
Questions
How do you work out the savings?
The saving each month is the hours saved each week, times your cost of an hour, times 4.33 weeks. The calculator shows that sum under the result, so you can check it.
How long does an automation take to pay for itself?
On average, a build pays for itself in about 12 weeks. A smaller process takes longer, up to about six months. Our price starts at $5,000 for any process, and a smaller process saves less each month, so it takes more months to cover that price.
What does it cost to have a process automated?
Every build has a fixed price agreed before we start, from $5,000. We work out two numbers with you: what the process costs you today, and the price of building it. Our limit is a year: if your numbers don’t show the build paying for itself within a year, we don’t propose it.
Do I pay anything to see it working?
The call and the prototype are both free. You click through a prototype of your own process, with sample data, before you decide to buy anything.

All free tools ›Seeing the numbers is the first half; seeing the process is the second.
After a 30-minute call, we build a clickable prototype of your process in two to four days. The prototype shows the screens your team would use, with sample data, so nothing touches your real inbox or books. You keep our proposal and its numbers, whatever you decide.
